University of Gondar
Project Summary
The STRIPE HIV at the University of Gondar team trains medical, nursing, and pharmacy students and health professionals to create an interprofessional team with the common goal of improving the quality of patient care and clinical outcomes for patients with HIV. In addition to the training, Gondar supports regional health facilities through a mentorship program.

- 8 facilitators trained to lead 8 workshops
- 193 learners (143 pre-service, 50 postgraduate) trained to deliver high-quality, team-based HIV care
- Developed team of trainers for interprofessional training
- Trained diverse cadre of health professionals using an interprofessional approach
