Project Summary

The UEM implements STRIPE HIV, recognizing its capacity to improve training for the health workforce in Mozambique and ensure the next generations of health professionals are equipped to deliver high quality of evidence-informed HIV-Care. The UEM Team has carried out two levels of the STRIPE program, including courses of interactive, case-based HIV management courses. The goal is to improve HIV treatment on by increasing clinical and educational capacity at the University of Eduardo Mondlane Faculty of Medicine and other affiliated institutions within Mozambique. 

Key Accomplishments

  • 53 facilitators trained to lead 8 workshops
  • 175 learners (68 pre-service, 107 postgraduate) trained to deliver high-quality, team-based HIV care
