Project Summary

The STRIPE HIV Project at SCOTT capacitates newly-qualified health professionals on the management of HIV prevention and care using a multi-disciplinary approach. Objectives include: conduct trainings with an interdisciplinary group of facilitators, convene step down interprofessional workshops, carry out an evaluation to assess workshop goal attainment after each training, and conduct periodic supportive monitoring and evaluation on learners.

Key Accomplishments

  • 7 facilitators trained to lead 3 workshops
  • 72 learners (32 pre-service, 40 postgraduate) trained to deliver high-quality, team-based HIV care
  • Through workshops, instilled teamwork and collaboration in health professionals providing HIV care to clients and patients 
  • Facilitated COVID-19 workshop for third-party, pre-clinical students
