Project Summary
The Strengthening Interprofessional Education for HIV (STRIPE HIV) Ethiopia program is implemented by Addis Ababa University, College of Health Sciences in collaboration with Hawassa and Bahirdar Universities Schools of Medicine and Nursing at the College of Health Sciences. The program has provided pre-service and pre-placement training, based on the training course developed by the African Forum for Research and Education in Health (AFREhealth) and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) for pre-service medical and nursing students.

- 9 facilitators trained to lead 7 workshops
- 145 learners (125 pre-service, 20 postgraduate) trained to deliver high-quality team-based HIV care
- Conducted workshops to train learners from medical, nursing/ midwifery, pharmacy, and laboratory professions
